Description

The 2026 Annual Commission Update (ACU) course is a mandatory 4-hour continuing education program for Colorado real estate brokers, covering crucial updates on rules, laws, contracts (like the new Commission-approved forms), and compliance issues set by the Colorado Division of Real Estate (DORA). This essential course helps agents stay current with changes in brokerage administration, property management, ethics, and market practices to ensure continued license validity, often with a required final exam, and is recommended to be taken early in the year. 

Course Content & Objectives: 

  • Rule & Law Changes: New regulations from the Colorado Real Estate Commission (CREC). 
  • Contract Updates: Review of the latest changes to standard real estate forms and contracts.
  • Compliance & Ethics: Best practices for brokerage management, agency, and ethical conduct. 
  • Practice Issues: Real-world scenarios, risk management, and emerging trends.
