Description

The course will cover a brief history of water administration in Colorado and the prior appropriation system. The course will also cover the different adjudicatory and administrative bodies within Colorado and their roles. Lastly, the course will cover the different types of well permits, their requirements for eligibility, and allowed uses. This course provides tools to find well permits, identify the allowed uses of well permits or water rights, determine whether an augmentation plan is required, and other related concepts.
